This has already gone down a completely different path from the original world setting. Ascension and Awakening are no longer the defining features—they’ve been replaced by hybrid monsters.
There is absolutely no Transcendent story at all, nor is there any clear explanation of where this power actually comes from.
It’s even different from the PC Online version. If they don’t have the ability to maintain it, then they simply don’t. Throwing more money at it won’t fix anything.
